We were tasked with creating three New Yorker covers highlighting 3 food capitals of the world. The goal was to create a system that could be applied to each cover.
The cities I chose were Kyoto, Lyon, and Oaxaca. Each illustration shows 3 foods in a landscape the city is known for. They also follow a core color scheme with added and omitted colors for each, and include a border that highlight some of the foods found in each city.
